Hector Luis Torres, also known as "Guisin,” of Herbert Grigg Home died on Oct. 16. He was 63 years old.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Susana Cadiz and Gaspar Torres; sisters: Maria Centino Ruiz and Innocencia Gonzales Ruiz; and nephew, Reynaldo Sierra.
He is survived by his sisters: Noelia Torres Salem and Luz Delia Sierra Torres; nieces: Norma Salem and Lynette Sierra; nephews: Sammy Sierra, Abed, Usef, Garib, Hodge and Mael Moad Salem; great nieces: Vanessa Gonzales Sierra, Sihomara Sierra and Jenitza Sierra; great nephews: Savier E. Sierra, Reynaldo Joel Sierra and Aaron Morales Sierra; special friends: the Torres family; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Special thanks to the Herbert Grigg staff.
There will be a viewing from 3-5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at James Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The Home Going Service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Iglesia De Dios Jesucristo La Luz Del Mundo (No. 10 Work and Rest, Christiansted, V.I.). The viewing will commence at 10 a.m. followed by the service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
