CAHS’ Sheila Joseph Selected as National Achievement Semi-Finalist

Sheila Joseph Charlotte Amalie High School has officially announced this week that senior Sheila Joseph has been selected as a National Achievement semi-finalist. Joseph was selected based on her outstanding performance on the 2012 PSAT. Only 1,600 students nationwide have qualified for this selection, and only three students were named on St. Thomas.
“Sheila continues to demonstrate academic excellence, and she maintains a record of consistently high academic performance,” CAHS Principal Carmen Howell said. “She has been endorsed by the school and is presently completing an application packet to continue in the competition. If she is named a National Achievement Finalist, she would also be able to compete for scholarships in the spring of 2014. Congratulations Sheila, we at CAHS are extremely proud of you.”
