Crime Stoppers: Make Sure Crime Doesn’t Pay

Crime prevention is up to all of us and thanks to you, the community, we are seeing a reduction in certain crimes. Please continue to speak up. If you know something, say something and help get the rest of the criminals off our streets.

Even the smallest bit of information may be just what is needed to identify and arrest the criminals involved in the following crimes. Please note: Crime Stoppers technology makes it impossible for anyone to find out who submitted a tip. To learn how this is done, visit www.CrimeStoppersUSVI.org and click on How It Works.

St. Croix: On Aug. 26 at 9 a.m., police were called to the Juan Luis Hospital in reference to a shooting victim. The man had been shot in his upper left shoulder near his home in Estate Williams Delight. Tell us what you know about this crime so police can put an end to the shootings, robberies and carjackings that have plagued this community in recent weeks.

St. John: On Aug. 10 at about 9:50 p.m., police responded to a fight in the road in front of Castaways Bar in Cruz Bay. A man was arrested but police thinks others were involved. If you know anything about this incident please speak up.

St. Thomas: On Aug. 24 at 5:45 a.m., a woman was walking in the area of Estate Contant to the rear of MCH Center when she was approached from behind by an unknown assailant who assaulted and robbed her of her jewelry. Help police identify and arrest this thug.
