Orendo D. Allen Dies at 69

Orendo D. Allen Orendo D. Allen, also known as "Bull," of Estate White Bay, Frederiksted, died on Aug. 20 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center. He was 69 years old.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalia Pollard and father, Albert Allen.
He is survived by his daughter, Adelle Allen-Marcus; son, Aaron Allen; grandchildren: Shamari Haynes, Kimoy Lynch and Jeron Marcus; daughter-in-law, Candice Allen; sisters: Loretta Allen-Chalwell, Rosetta Allen-Lane, Gloria Allen-Joseph, Joyce Allen-Ferguson, Deloris Allen-Copeman and Isolina Allen-Harrison; brothers: Ernest and Raphael Allen; sister-in-law, Marcelina Allen; brothers-in-law: Dimitri Copeman, Wayne Harrison, Rohlston Joseph and Wilbur Abramson; and nieces: Melanie Chalwell, Melba Martinez, Michelle and Tasha Lane, Ellamae Martinez, Rhena, Shantel and Diana Ferguson, Tamara, Cathy and Melanie Allen, Andrea Jones, Nailah Copman and Melanie Malone.
He is also survived by nephews: Glen Roberts Jr., Alvin Chalwell, Marco Martinez, Michael Martin, Emile, Myron, O’Neal, Roan and Jerome Allen, Steven Malone, Daryle Joseph and Ryan Petersen; aunt, Joyce Meyers; uncle, Leslie Meyers; special friends: Winston Phillip, Moises Figueroa, Theobald Seals, the Seales family, Vaughn Hendricks, Don Berney Barnes and Buster (St. John); as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The family requests that festive colors be worn at the service.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Frederiksted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
