Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help

Crime Stoppers needs your help to solve the following crimes. If you know something, say something, as law enforcement cannot control crime without your help. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to know to take these criminals off our streets.

St. Croix: On July 23 in the Mt. Victory area, the burned body of Earl James was found inside his white Toyota Tacoma. The license plate number is CEQ-323. The night before, officers received a call that unknown individuals had stopped a similar truck in the vicinity of Concordia Villas Housing Community and the Alexander Henderson Elementary School. According to the caller, the man and his truck were driven away from the area by the individuals who stopped him. Tell us what you know about the persons who were involved in stopping this vehicle. The minimum reward for the arrest of a homicide suspect is $1,500.

St. John: On July 26 about 2:50 a.m., police responded to a fight in progress in the area of the Lumber Yard, Cruz Bay. When they arrived they found a male with a large laceration to his head. If you know something about this matter, say something.

St. Thomas: On July 15 at 5:10 p.m., two young men were in Office Max in Tutu Park Mall and stole a computer tablet. Pictures of the two suspects can be found on the Crime Stoppers website. Please view the pictures and help identify them. The minimum reward for an arrest is $536 plus, if recovered, 10 percent of the value of the tablet.

Continue to work for the good of all by telling us what you know about these or any other crimes at www.CrimeStoppersUSVI.org or by calling 1-800-222- 8477. You can also text “USVI” plus your message to CRIMES (274637). If your tip leads to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property, illegal drugs or weapons, you will receive a cash reward to be paid according to your instructions.
