Novell "Auckland" Sylvester Charles Dies

Novell "Auckland" Sylvester Charles Novell "Auckland" Sylvester Charles, also known as "Auckland Charles," died on April 16 at his residence.
He is survived by his spouse, Geraldine Genevieve Charles; daughters: Arlene McCoy, Lisa Charles, Linda Charles-Brown and Lydia Charles-DeFour; sons: Hugh James and Glenmore "Darkie" Charles; grandchildren: Dwayne James, Joshua James, Tyrique Evans, Chancellor Halbert, Channon Harris, Samantha James, Ashley Pruitt, Kimeko McCoy, Nyssa McCoy, Asabi Charles, Micheal, Alysia and Jaheem Charles, Chelsea Walter and Chesnie Brown; great-grandchild, Sage Phillips; daughter-in-law, Felicia James; sons-in-law: Rodney McCoy, Luke DeFour Jr. and Andrew Dave Brown; sister, Fernella Daniel; brother, Ralston Charles; and nieces: Nalda Hazlewood, Melissa Sylvester, Yvette Charles, Eulynis Browne, Annetta Weaver, Lucia Weaver, Debbie Benjamin Charles, Roslyn Joseph, Sheila Weaver Walker, Laverne Charles, Joan Glasford, Valerie Sibily, Zenar Joshua, Patricia Pennyfeather, Doreen Bowery, Hyacinth Weatherwill, Merle Richards and Gretlyn Charles.
He is also survived by nephews: Denise Charles, Orson Charles, Oscar Charles, Bert Daniel, Joel Daniel, Jerome Frederick, Lynroy Frederick, Allan Gomes, Austin Hazlewood Jr., Claude Weaver, Ralph Hazlewood, Elsworth Weaver, Evert Weaver Sr., Vere Weaver, Patrick Weaver, Hensworth Weaver, Winston Carr and Collie Gardner; great nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; uncle, David Charles; special friends: Pastor Henry and Margaret Peters, Phillip and Winna Anthony, the Lansiquot family, Stedman and Ava Hughes, Herman and Angeline Ravariere, Analita Boatswain, Alva and Mildred James, the Javois family; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 29, at Peter’s Rest Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
