Elsie E. Pickering George died on April 17 at her residence. She was 74 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Irene and Janice George; granddaughters: Janelle Wheatley, Tiffany Joseph, Glenys Hedrington and Amarae Wheatley; grandsons: Roland Hedrington Jr. , Milton E. Wheatley Jr. and Terrence Willock Jr.; great-granddaughters: Sashary and Shania Hedrington; brothers: Leayle Pickering Sr. and Elroy Pickering Sr.; sisters-in-law: Christina Rojas Pickering, Helen Pickering and Lori Pickering; nieces: Elizabeth Pickering Mulraine, Wilma Raymo Pickering Matthias, and Lauralie, Caroline, Christine, Lethia and Leandra Pickering; nephews: Liston Jr., Leayle Jr., Elroy Jr., Eltino, Leon and D’verne Pickering; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 3, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
