Joyce Dore-Griffin, a graduate of Eudora Kean High School, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Texas. She has been a member of the Marriott’s Frenchman’s Reef Beach Resort family since May 23, 1995. She began her journey with the hotel as a manager trainee, and with dedication and hard work, she was quickly moved to assistant front office manager and then to front office manager.
In 2001, proving to be an outstanding leader and not afraid of a challenge, Dore-Griffin was promoted to director of reservations, a position which she held for nine years. In 2010, she was ready to tackle yet another role, this time director of sales. Under her direction the sales team has exceeded sales budgets and has been instrumental in gaining new and, most importantly, retaining loyal customers.
She will now add the title of director of sales and marketing to her impressive resume.
