Elodia Fenner, better known as “Ms. Elodia” or “Granny,” died on March 14 at her residence. She was 94 years old.
She is survived by her sons: Kevin Fenner, Dana Gomez and Richard Gomez; daughters: Nieta Battiste, Ilka Webster, Judy Gomez, Antoinette Gomez, Angeli Leerdam and Denise Turbe; sons-in-law: Leon Battiste, Crisbin Webster; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nephews: Eldren Christian and children, and Randolph Christian and children; niece, Amy Christian and chidren; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be tributes at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, at Nisky Moravian Church. Interment will be at Nisky Moravian Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be given during the service to the Moravian Multi-purpose Facility.
