Rosalie Eglantine (Walters) Halbert Dead at 72

Rosalie Eglantine (Walters) Halbert Rosalie Eglantine (Walters) Halbert of Estate Hermon Hill, Christiansted, died on March 2, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 72 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent Halbert; children: Monica, Errol and Dwight Halbert; daughter-in-law, Haidee Vargas de Halbert; brothers: Alfred and Samuel Walters; sisters: Louise Williams, Althea Garcia, Amorel Walters-Freeman, Imelda John Finn, Aldora Rameau and Janet Walters; and nieces: Jenice Walters, Jennifer Gray, Bonita "Bonnie" Bullivant, Rosalyn Walters, Angela Walters-Delpeche, Carvet Taylor, Deborah "Debbie" Todman, Pearl Williams-Pini, Pearline Williams-Vergeer, Bernadine Williams, Andrea Garcia, Jacqueline "Jackie" Freeman, Jessica John Finn-Aubin and Rebecca "Becky" Rameau.
She is also survived by nephews: Eugene Freeman Sr., Warren Freeman Sr., Vaughn John Finn, Justin Walters, Julian Walters, Fitzroy Bass, Dean Glasgow and Carlston Walters; aunt, Muriel Pemberton; brothers in-law: Greville JohnFinn, Rupert Halbert, Irving Halbert and Kenneth "Boy" Halbert; sisters in-law: Eugenie Walters, Pearl Halbert, Louise Rombley, Wilma Simons, Julia Halbert, Carmella "Linda" Hanley, Iris Halbert- Hodge, Violet Williams, Margaret Webbe and Geraldine Zuill; the Walters, Halbert, Pinney, Liburd, Powell, Morton and Nicholas families of Nevis, and the St. John’s Episcopal Church family, as well as other family and friends too numerous to mention.
Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of Juan F. Luis Hospital for their care and attention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Christiansted. Please join us in rejoicing and lifting her spirit unto the Lord. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
