Army Pvt. De’Aundre Christopher/St. Croix
March 1, 2013 (Defense Media Activity) — Army Pvt. De’Aundre Christopher has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, and physical fitness. He received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.
Christopher is the son of Athyll Christopher of Soursap Street, Christiansted, Virgin Islands, and Vanessa Garrett of Old Greensboro Road, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is also the grandson of Rose Shurland of U.S. Highway 43, Eutaw, Alabama.
He is a 2009 graduate of St. Croix Central High School, Kingshill, V.I.

Army Pfc. Hasani O. Stapleton/St. Croix
March 13, 2013 (Defense Media Activity) — Army Pfc. Hasani O. Stapleton has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values as well as physical fitness. He received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, the military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.
Stapleton is the son of Lisette Cruz of Frederiksted, and grandson of Arthur Stapleton of Kingshill.
He is a 2012 graduate of the St. Croix Educational Complex High School.

Air Force Airman Anniesha C. Paul/St. Thomas
Air Force Airman Anniesha C. Paul March 20, 2013 (Joint Hometown News Service) — Air Force Airman Anniesha C. Paul graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Paul is the daughter of Anne Marie Stuart and granddaughter of Alexandrine Laurent, both of Estate Lovenlund, Charlotte Amalie.
She is a 2011 graduate of Charlotte Amalie High School.

Army National Guard Pfc. Teshawn W. Adams/St. Thomas
March 21, 2013 (Defense Media Activity) — Army National Guard Pfc. Teshawn W. Adams has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, and physical fitness. He received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.
Adams is the son of Natasha Adams and grandson of Carlton and Islyn Adams, all of St. Thomas.
He is a 2012 graduate of Ivanna Eudora Kean High School, St. Thomas.

Army Pvt. Asheil A. Allen/St. Thomas
March 27, 2013 (Defense Media Activity) — Army Pvt. Asheil A. Allen has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, and physical fitness. He received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.
Allen is the son of Barbara Rogers of Ladson Court, Decatur, Ga., and nephew of Fiona Rogers of Hulburt Street, Albany, N.Y. He is the grandson of Eirene Allen of Santa Maria, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
He is a 2011 graduate of Charlotte Amalie High School, St. Thomas, V.I.
