Aaron Montgomery Jeffers Dies at 68

Aaron Montgomery Jeffers Aaron Montgomery Jeffers, also known as "Mack," of Estate LaReine died on Feb. 24 at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center. He was 68 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Marvelyn Martin-Jeffers; mother-in-law, Claudette Martin; father-in-law, James Martin; daughters: Sharon Jeffers-Merritt, Laverne Jeffers-Braide, Latoya Jeffers Esq. and Mikhaila Jeffers; grandchildren: Jasmine, Jovanio, Jonel and Jacoi; sisters: Melvina (Mary), Irene Williams and Laurie Hull; brothers: Melvin Morton and Solomon Morton; and nieces: Sylvia Jeffers, Avenice Jeffers-Thompson, Kamilah Cornelius, Ivanie Brown, Jacqueline Williams, Javancia and Celeste Hull, and Melissa, Bianca and Bria Morton.
He is also survived by nephews: James, Gary and Roy Jeffers, Analdo Bailey, Mabuse and Owen Liburd, Melvin and George Williams, Roy Morton and Adjahni; great nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; brothers-in-law: Ethelred Martin, Esmonde Martin, Glawyn Martin, James Martin Jr., Garry Martin, Craig Martin and Emmanuel Hull; sisters-in-law: Inez Jeffers, Bernadine Jeffers and Franciette (Fay) Morton; special friends and family: Patrick Phillip, Davis Glasgow, Lloyd Kent, Vaughn Phillip, John Freeman, Jean Mauraine, Monica Jacobs, Dr. Ralph and Mildred, De Chabert and family, Pastor Ruben and Ivy Vessup, the staff and management of the Caribbean Kidney Center and the maintenance crew at Sunny Isle Shopping Center; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Special thanks to Dr. Griffith, Dr. Manning, Dr. Graham and the staff of the PCU and Surgical, Medical Unit at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, at the St. John’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
