Property Owners Advised to Update Contact Information

The Division of Real Property reminds owners of real property in the U.S. Virgin Islands that tax bills for years 2006-2010 are now delinquent, and subject to penalty and interest fees. Property owners in delinquent status run the risk of their properties being auctioned in accordance with Virgin Islands law, according to a press release issued Thursday by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.
Property owners who have not received a bill for any or all of the specified years are advised to contact the Tax Assessor’s Office in their district to update their mailing address.
Property owners needing to update their contact information can contact the Tax Assessor’s Office at 776-8505 on St. Thomas, 776-6737 on St. John and 773-6459 on St. Croix for Christiansted or 772-3115 for the Frederiksted office.
