Anita C. Davis Dies at 66

Anita C. Davis Anita C. Davis, also known as "Mai,” “Nita,” “Comai” or “Annie," of Estate St. John died on Feb. 2, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 66 years old.
She is survived by her mother, Albertha Payne Rosario; stepfather, Miguel Rosario; daughters: Agatha Felix and Priscilla Williams-Mottley; sons: Carl Schou Sr., Clarence Williams and Earl Williams; grandchildren: Carl, Elijah, Akeem, Eliciah, Jackeem and Jazma Schou, Nichelle Baly, Clement Brown, Mariska and Dayanara Felix, Aisha Williams and Christopher Vitalis; stepgrandchildren: Brian Roebuck and Jahnoi Wilson; great grandchildren: DaShawn, Deariaon, Alexis, Destiny, Alianna and Zaria Schou, and Amisha Messer; sons-in-law: Luis Felix and Kenrick Mottley; sisters: Laureen Berry, Agnes, Althea, Carmen, Celia and Angela Simmonds; brothers: Clinton, Cedric, Cecil Jr., Clarence, Clifton, Alton, Arnold and Michael Simmonds, and Albertho Davila; and nieces: Lucynthia Boomer, Louise Edwards, Rhonda Charles, Lereiz Canton, Carmiesia and Tiffany Straker, Camiellia Roberts, Amara Bailey, Jaihda and Sarah Brock, Shereen Simmonds–Mack, Chalima, Michika, Chenelle, Sheniqua, Kwameka, Kendra, Keyandra, Dainya, Nifitia and Anique Simmonds, and Sukie Davila.
She is also survived by nephews: Louie Edwards, Mala’kai Canton, Michael, Hasheem, Joseph, Randal, Kaseem, Kaheil, Kaleel, Kendal, Kahmal, De’Ondre, Rabel, Kamua, Ashoy and Akeil Simmonds, Jahmar Jean Marie, Ahjah Lattin, Malik Coates, Anderson Titus, Ivan and Francisco Brock, and Albertho II; great nieces: Amnesia Minto, Chanesia Ferrance, Anaizah James, Skyla Gay, Lakeisha Boomer, Kenesha , Shanya, Sedeyjah, Chenyah Simmonds and Tishawn Quiones; great nephews: Kayambu, Jahsendee, Acacia Simmonds, Jamal Quinoes, Luis Jr. and Raheem Edwards, and Christopher Joseph; special friends: Paulina Brache, Carmen Williams, Gleston McIntosh, Nigel Baly, Delita Byam, Norma Tull, Sheryl Petersen, Julie Morton, Wilma Abramson, Maxine Fleming, Tony Jeffers, Mona Payne, Kasuan Baptiste, Princess Academy and staff, Nicole Whiskey and family, and Carrington and family ; godchildren: Andrea Arendell, Dinah Williams-Taylor, Rodney Williams, Darren Edwards, Tanique and Euclyn Prentice, and Nicron Payne; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, at the Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church, Christiansted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
