Relatives and friends are advised of the passing of George Antonie Blanchard, better known as “Toma.”
He is survived by his wife, Marie Blanchard; daughter, Lorraine Quetel; sons: Richard Blanchard and Robert Blanchard; sister, Ursule Blanchard; grand kids: Ernest Quetel Jr., Derek Quetel, Nicklus Quetel, Michael Blanchard, Christopher Blanchard and J’nan Blanchard; daughters-in-law: Theresa Blanchard and Denise Blanchard; sons-in-law: John Greaux, Francisco Greaux and Augustin Greaux; great-grand kids: Nikai Quetel and Sarah Quetel; special people: Christine Greaux, Crystal Hicks Quetel, Zoya Amimi Quetel, Karen Johnson Hassen and Ann Greuax.
A first viewing will be held from 8-9 a.m. at the John Thomas Funeral Home followed by a second viewing from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at St. Anne’s Church on Friday, Feb. 1. A funeral service will be held at the church. Interment will be held at Western Cemetery No. 1.
