USVI Sotheby’s International Realty Shines Spotlight on the USVI With Wall Street Journal Article

USVI Sotheby’s International Realty, a luxury real estate brokerage servicing St. John, St. Thomas and St. Croix, has brought the world’s attention to the U.S. Virgin Islands as a luxury real estate destination in a Wall Street Journal article regarding a new $35 million dollar listing of a pirate-themed villa on the island of St. Thomas. The article was the second to be published in a one week period for USVI Sotheby’s International Realty; the first one was on Dec. 21, 2012, titled “Sea Changes in the Caribbean.”
“We are proud to be instrumental in helping the USVI get the well-deserved credit as a luxury real estate destination. St. Thomas, St, John and St. Croix have some of the finest properties in the Caribbean, and it is time that the rest of the world gets exposed to them,” said Lee Steiner, USVI Sotheby’s International Realty president.
Initially the firm became a Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate in October of 2011 and opened its second office on St. Croix in November of 2012. Both offices are part of a luxury real estate network that includes more than 12,600 sales associates located in approximately 650 offices in 45 countries and territories worldwide.
This locally-based real estate firm, which services the entire territory, offers exclusive Sotheby’s International Realty marketing, advertising and referral services that are designed to attract well-qualified buyers to the firm’s property listings. In addition, the firm and its clients benefit from an association with the Sotheby’s Auction House.
Property listings from USVI Sotheby’s International Realty also are marketed on the sothebysrealty.com global Web site, as well as on the firm’s local Web site: sothebysrealtyusvi.com.
