Henry A. Jeffers Dies at 75

Henry A. Jeffers Henry A. Jeffers, also known as "Dude," of Work and Rest died on Dec. 31 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
He is survived by his son, Henry Jeffers Jr.; adopted son, Leslie Shears; grandchildren: Jelema Jeffers, Henry Jeffers III, Henry Jeffers IV, Adrien Jeffers and Yuanjia Shears; daughter-in-law, Valda Jeffers; sister, Hildred Simonds; niece, Keisha Heywood; nephew, Mike Farrell; great niece and great nephew: Jaylinamar Anthony Cave and James Roberts Cave; special friends: Lana Liburd, St. Clair Liburd, Paulette Ford, the Todmann family, and the Work and Rest crew; as well a other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Christiansted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
