Crime Stoppers Empowers You

Crime Stoppers empowers you, the law abiding citizens, to make your neighborhoods, schools and businesses safer by reporting information while remaining anonymous. If you know something, say something, as law enforcement needs to know what you know. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what is needed to identify and arrest the criminals involved in the following crimes.

St. Croix: Between 9:45 p.m. on Dec. 20 and 7 a.m. the following day in the area of Little Fountain Frederiksted, a home was burglarized while the resident slept. The burglar(s) stole a 42-inch TV and remote, then exited the property through the back fence.

St. John: On Dec. 17 at 3:30 a.m., a woman walking in the area of Estate Enighed was grabbed from behind and shoved to the ground by an unknown male. The woman said she tried to kick the man off of her but was unable to do so. The man sexually assaulted her and she started screaming. When a house light turned on, he ran off.

St. Thomas: On Nov. 7 at noon a man returned to his vehicle parked on Beltjen Road and discovered it had been broken into. His tan Kenneth Cole bag that contained $300 and several credit cards was stolen.

The minimum cash reward for the arrest of a burglar is $714 plus 10 percent of the retail value of property recovered. The minimum reward for the arrest of a rape suspect is $900. Crime Stoppers’ maximum reward is $2,500.
