Superior Court Releases Holiday Schedule

In recognition of the holidays and festival season, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court, the Honorable Darryl Dean Donohue Sr., has announced that the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands will be closed on the following dates:
Monday, Dec. 24 — closed from noon to 5 p.m. in both districts
Tuesday, Dec. 25 — closed in both districts (Christmas Day)
Wednesday, Dec. 26 — closed in both districts (Christmas 2nd Day)
Monday, Dec. 31 — closed from noon to 5 p.m. in both districts
Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 — closed in both districts (New Year’s Day)
Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 — closed noon to 5 p.m. in St. Croix district only
Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 — closed in both districts (St. Croix Children’s Parade)
Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 — closed in both districts (Three Kings Day observed)
All previously calendared matters and Advice of Rights will be heard as scheduled. During the court’s closure as noted above, all filing will be accepted via a secured lock box at the following locations:
St. Croix District — first floor entrance of the R.H. Amphlett Leader Justice Complex
St. Thomas-St. John — first floor, East Wong entrance at the Alexander A. Farrelly Justice Center
