Police Seek Missing/Runaway Youths

Detectives from the Youth Investigation Bureau are asking for the community’s help in locating two teenage girls – who may be together – both of whom were last seen Thursday at St. Croix Central High School.

Rasjahida Escobar is 15-years-old, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has a dark brown complexion, brown eyes and black hair, according to police.

Police describe Shanira Diaz as 17-years-old, 5 feet 2 inches tall and 190 pounds with light complexion, brown eyes and black hair.

In order to ensure their safety, officers are asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of either girl, or has seen either lately, to report her location to the police.

The Youth Investigation Bureau can be reached by calling 712-6088 or police emergency 911.

The police reminds the public that anyone found to be harboring either missing minor, assisting them to evade police or persuading them to stay away from home can face criminal charges.
