Joanna L. Nibbs died on Friday, Dec. 7, at her residence. She was 85 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Nibbs; daughter, Deanna Herbert; grandson, Michel Herbert; brother, Charles Lee; nephew, Charles James; niece, Veronica Sweeny; special friend, Charlotte Oliver; and others too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Wesley Methodist Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
