Enid Melonie Rogers-Prince Dies

Enid Melonie Rogers-Prince, better known as "Princey," died on Nov. 25.
She is survived by her sons: Hughley and Gerald Prince; daughters: Dorothy Prince and Cheryl Malone; brothers: William Rogers Sr. and Jean Rogers; sisters: Cynthia Rogers, Claire Rogers-Whitfield and Angela Rogers-Charville; grandchildren: Antonio Stridiron Jr., Latoya Wade-Lattin, Matthew Prince and Jazmin Townes; great-grandchildren: Ah’keyl Greenaway, Ah’kayla, Ahijah and Akira Lattin; and nieces: Diane Rogers Coaker, Deanna, Dawn, Mercilla, Anne, Valarie, Pat, Mira, Digna, Jeannie, Jenny, Patricia and Diana Rogers, Marie Rogers-Nicholson, Ingrid Rogers-Lake, Marilyn Rogers-Harrigan, Paula Reyes, Mona Williams, Michelle Gumbs, Sabrina, Carina and Rassia Charville.

She is also survived by nephews: Roy, Earl, Keith, Charles, Daniel, Dwayne, Joshua, Jonathan and Adolph Rogers, William Rogers Jr., Alpheus Rogers Jr., Teddy Watty, Kenneth Lewis, Francis Gumbs Jr., Faisal Zoubie, Calvin Whitfield Jr. and Jay Whitfield; many great nieces and great nephews too numerous to mention; caregiver: Natasha Harrigan; close friends: Mona Massac and Majorie Ghent; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will take place from 5-10 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. A second viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, at St. Andrews Church. Interment will be cremation.
Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
