Elisha Carter Dies at 70

Elisha Carter, also known as "Grace" of Estate Williams Delight died on Nov. 21 at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 70 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Brenda Quarless and Shirley Maycock; sons: Frankie Quarless and Gerald Quarless; 23 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters: Christine Eckstein and Otis Simon; brothers: Clinton "Tooks" Rawlins and "Magic" Elias Rampersad; numerous nieces to include: Shermaine and Melinda; numerous nephews; numerous great nieces; numerous great nephews; one aunt; special friends: Tanya and Lloyd Gloudon, Jules Maxphine, Maureen Walcott and Leroy Douglas; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, at the Frederiksted Baptist Church, Estate Wheel of Fortune. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
