Police Seek Help in Identifying Assault Victim

Police on St. Thomas are seeking to identity an assault victim who is presently under doctor’s care.

Concerned citizens found the man in the women’s bathroom shower stall at Magens Bay at about 7 a.m. Saturday. He was not carrying any form of identification.

The victim was wearing a white polo T-shirt and pants. He is a white male of undetermined age with light blue eyes. His low-cut hair is white with slight balding at the top of his head, and he has a mustache and a beard.

Detectives said on Monday that the victim is in stable condition and “improving.”

Anyone missing a friend or family member not seen since early Saturday morning is urged to call detectives at the Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Anyone with any knowledge of an assault, argument or any other suspicious or unusual activity on the beach is also urged to contact detectives, calling 340-715-5522 or 340-715- 5516, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1- 800-222-TIPS.
