Man Charged in Nonfatal Stabbing

Police on St. Thomas arrested 24-year-old Kerwin Grayham of Kronprindsens Gade and charged him with third-degree assault in a nonfatal stabbing that occurred in October.

According to the initial police report, a man reported he had been stabbed at least once in his upper back.

The victim told police he knew Grayham, and he let him into his apartment the night of Oct. 4. The victim said Grayham stabbed him in the back without provocation.

Police conducted an investigation into the matter and arrested Grayham at about 12:30 p.m. on Friday.

Grayham was held on $25,000 bail and remanded to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections.
