Venetta Thomas Dies in Miami

Venetta Thomas died on Nov. 8 in Miami.
She is survived by her grandparents: Ellick Dominique and Benedict Paul; mother, Josephine Jones; father, Vincent Thomas; stepfather, Raymond C. Jones; sisters: Cassandra Thomas, Stacy Thomas, Shardee Thomas-Lake and Annette Hilton; brothers: Kieth Tyrone Thomas, Vaughn Thomas, Mervin Thomas, Wayne Thomas, Clive Lloyd and Andy Lloyd; aunts: Theresa Joseph, Elmona Alexander, Stephanie Paul, Virgin Mineas, Octinia Harris, Patronica “Nica” Lewis, Virginie Cyntje, Lyzette Thomas and Kathia Thomas; uncles: Aaron Paul, Jonathan Paul, Joaness Paul, Joseph Paul, Harrison Paul, Guy Thomas, Eric Thomas, Joseph Thomas, Etienne Thomas, Grayson Thomas; nieces: nieces: JoSandra Thomas, Makada Johnson, Macara Johnson, Eariah Thomas Moniqua "Nicky" Thomas, Mercedes Thomas, Aziah Thomas, Monet Thomas, Britney Fahie, Adeijah Lloyd and Britney Giraud; and nephews: Mervin Thomas Jr., Wavon Thomas and Michael Thomas.
She is also survived by cousins: Maureen Watkins, Sharon Alexander, Brent Alexander, Anne-Marie Gumbs, Stephenson Joseph, Dr. Joann Paul-Charles, Dr. Rosanne Paul-Bruno, Deanne Paul-Winston, Dr. Anderson Joaness Paul, Millicent Thomas, Jean-Louis Thomas, Hyacinth Joseph, Michael Fletcher Worrel, Jason George, Isaiah Paul, Chad Paul, Heidi Paul-Percell, Anderson “Andy” Paul, Artley Paul, Tiffany Paul, Kendra Paul, Crystal Paul, Anthony AJ Harris, Danielle Harris, Gabriel Harris, Jason Thomas, Earl Thomas, Sebastien Thomas, Vincia St. Luce, Vincent Paul, Carolyn Paul Nigel Paul, Stephanie Thomas-Laudat, Dr. Michael Thomas, Leonice Thomas, Dr. Desmond Thomas, Charlene Cyntje-Clyne, Reginald “Andy” Cyntje, Karima Cyntje, Abigail Cyntje, Lester Thomas and Lee Thomas; as well as many, many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home Chapel on St. Thomas. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 19, at Calvary Baptiste Church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
