Public High Schools Have Early Dismissal

Students at St. Croix’s two public high schools will be dismissed from class at 1 p.m. Thursday and Friday, the V.I. Department of Education announced.

St. Croix Educational Complex Principal Willard John said first-semester mid-term exams will be administered to students, bringing about the early dismissal at both Complex and St. Croix Central High.

Students transporting by buses are scheduled to be picked up at 1 p.m. Parents and guardians who usually pick up their children should also do so at dismissal time.

John encouraged students to get plenty of sleep and eat a good breakfast before arriving on campus Thursday.
