All Persons Conducting Business in U.S.V.I. Must Obtain License Type

The Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) reminds all persons and entities conducting business in the Virgin Islands that they must be in possession of a valid business license.
Commissioner Biggs advises all persons not abiding by the law to cease all operations immediately and expeditiously act on resolving this deficiency. “Until the legal requirements of obtaining an applicable and current business license from DLCA are fulfilled, persons conducting commerce or engaging in any type of business will be in violation of the licensing laws of the Virgin Islands and face enforcement action.
Additionally, DLCA reminds the public that anyone currently involved in roadside vending are required to obtain a placement permit from the VIPD and also be in possession of a current vendor’s license from DLCA.
For additional information, contact the Licensing Division of the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs on St. Croix at 773-2226 or St. Thomas at 774-3130.
