Mungo Niles Cultural Dancers Perform in Dominica

The Mungo Niles Cultural Dancers will travel to Dominica on Thursday, Nov. 1, to participate in the country’s 34th Independence Anniversary Celebrations. They were invited by the Dominica Association of the Virgin Islands to accompany them to this year’s activities.
A group of eleven dancers will be performing at the National Cultural Gala in the Dominica Botanical Gardens on Nov. 3, in addition to visiting an elementary school. The group is expected to return on Sunday, Nov. 4, after proudly displaying the Virgin Islands culture to a neighboring island.
The Mungo Niles Cultural Dancers thanks its primary sponsors: the V.I. Lottery, the V.I. Council on the Arts, International Capital and Management Company and the U.S.V.I. Department of Tourism as well as all its supporters for making this event possible.
