Ernest Meyers of Estate Springfield died on Oct. 15 at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 82 years of old.
He is survived by his daughters: Christal Meyers and Sonia Meyers; sons: Gary I. Meyers, Anthony E. Meyers, Ernie A. Meyers and Ernest Meyers Jr.; grandchildren: Jamal, Isaiah, Tafarah, Jared, Torey Sr., Tiffany, Malcom, Alonzo, Janelle, Allison and Lisa; great- grandchildren: Kymanni, Aisha, Torey Jr., Kialieah, Israel, Destine, Aniyah, Jah’diah, Shane, Raizah, Mason, Harmony, Jaquan and Zaryah; daughter-in-law, Barbara Noreen P. Meyers; sister: Joyce Meyers; brother: Alfredo Jackson and Leslie Meyers; special niece, Lorrayne Reyes; nieces: Gwendolyn Meyers, Brenda Meyers, Myrtle Meyers, Beverly Meyers, Louise Meyers- Stevens, Loretta, Rosetta, Gloria and Joyce Allen, Delores Allen Copemann, Isolina Allen, Joyce and Gaynell Meyers, and Rufina "Sugar" Simmonds; nephews: Orendo "Bull," Ernest "Jah" and Raphael "Junto" Allen, Ohanio Jr., Renee, Calvin, Deveres, Murel and Leslie Jr. Meyers; 68 great nieces and nephews to include Erika L. There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Oct. 29 at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Frederiksted. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
