Computer Series Features Training in Excel

Individuals interested in getting the most of their computing experience can take advantage of a computer training series being offered by the University of the Virgin Islands – Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center. The Basic Computing Skills Series covers a wide range of topics to include: the Internet, setting up e-mail and getting the most out of office productivity software such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Publisher.
The next course in the series – Introduction to Excel, will be held 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20. Sessions will be held at the UVICELL Center on the St. Thomas Campus and NWW-133 on the St. Croix Campus.
In Intro to Excel 2010, participants will learn how to insert data into a spreadsheet, utilize functions and formulas, create charts and much more.
