VIDOA Temporarily Relocates Sanderilla Bungalow Vendors

Vendors who usually use the Sanderilla Market Square on St. Thomas to sell their produce will be temporarily relocated to the area between Emancipation Garden and Vendor’s Plaza starting Saturday, Sept. 22, according to a press release issued Friday by the Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture.
Commissioner Louis E. Petersen Jr., Ph.D., said, “The temporary relocation is in place while Market Square undergoes reconstruction. The anticipated timeframe for the completion of this phase of the project is early November. Vendors will be able to return to Market Square on Nov. 15 – a date that has been determined in cooperation with the Department of Public Works.”
VIDOA regrets any inconvenience this temporary relocation may cause. For further information, call 774-5182.
