Randall Anthony James Dies in Illinois

Randall A. James

Randall Anthony James a.k.a. “Randy,” “Pichon” and “Hanife,” diedWednesday, Aug. 15, at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmurst, Illinois. He was 50 years old.
He is survived by his special friend, Cynthia Smith; son, Hanife A. James; daughter, Kheya A. James; grandchildren: Khe’Andra and Zhyon; brothers: Ricardo Doward, Ralph James, Elmo James, Anthony James, Taj James, Ivan James and Kai James; sisters: Judith M. James, Anna E. James, Juliet C. James, Rudine James, Esther James and Sherlene James-Jones; uncle, Otto James Sr.; aunts: Felicita Ramirez, Olga Barry, Gertrude James Chinnery and Evelyn Messer-James; and godparents: Norman Bailey and Inez Walker.
Randy loved his nieces, nephews and cousins dearly but family dynamics led to his establishing closer bonds with his niece, Indica A. Doward; and cousins: Victor Belardo, Mario Belardo, Jose Squiabro, Carlos Squiabro, Maxime Barry, Carmen Belardo Soto, Norma Morla, Migdalia Squiabro, Myrian Ramirez Belardo and Nivia Ramirez.
Other beloved and cherished relatives include Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Thomas Sr., Edwin Thomas Jr., Ray Thomas, Henry Thomas, Dean Thomas, Laurie Thomas-Jacobs, Sandra Thomas, Deidre Thomas, Vanessa Thomas and their families, Eugene Thomas and family, Alphonso “Scipio” Thomas and family, the family of the late Francis “Franco” Thomas; and the family of the late Nathena George. He is also survived by the Guerra, Belardo, Gordon, Fredericks, Miranda, Encarnacion, Cummings, Bastian, Cornelius, Vaughan (Illinois), Cooke (Illinois) and Rodriguez (Illinois) families; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
