UVI Offers Computer Classes for Pre-College Students

The University of the Virgin Islands in collaboration with the Ana G. Mendez University Systems Caribbean Computing Center for Excellence and with the support of the National Science Foundation offers a free Saturday Research Academy program for pre-college students interested in pursuing a career in computing or information technology (grades 10-12).
Classes will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. The starting date is Sept. 1 at UVI and the ending date is Dec. 15 (research symposium in Puerto Rico).
