Gwendolyn Monica Eustache Dead at 55

Gwendolyn Monica Eustache died on Aug. 8 at Schneider Regional Medical Center at the age of 55.

She is predeceased by her parents: George and Leila Williams. She is survived by her husband, Augustin Emmanuel Eustache; adopted mother, Marion Freeman; daughters: Joanne Eustache-Benjamin, Janelle Eustache, Sheridan Williams-Rhynd, Natasha Williams and Marie Eustache-Andrews; sons: Jonathan Eustache and Jason Eustache Sr.; grandchildren: Jason Eustache Jr., Joenorri Benjamin, Akeelah Rhynd, Tevin Williams, Jonathan, Sherall and Nyasha Matthews, Tyresse Davis, Garnett Banis, Larissa, Marissa and Marelda Andrews, and Jemikquia Fahie; great-grandchild, Tyreek Mikel Antwan Benjamin; sisters: Carnetta Williams and Ruby Trimmingham; brothers: Stanley Marshall, Christopher Williams, Jerry Anderson and Andrew Trimmingham; nieces: Alicia, Marlene, Josie, Shanelle and Katisha Williams, Makiba Glenn, Nioka Marshall, Sue-Ann and Stacy Anderson, Andrea James, Roxie, Lorna, Foxi, Anika George and Marian Antoine; and nephews: Elijah Marshall, Robert, Alrick and Kenrick Williams, Andrick Arthur, Steven and Sean Anderson, Bennie and Rolando, McKenzie Florent, Eddison Felix and John Antoine
She is also survived by great nieces: Kendra, Alexia, Dony, Maerna, Christine, Katie, Diamond, Elisa and Ingel; great nephews: Kenrick, Kenshawn, Shemiel, Alister, Alexis, Jazek, Marlon, Miran, Jomane, David and Dalton; son-in-laws: Tony “Ninja” Benjamin and Amere Dewindt; daughters-in-law: J’ada Meyers and Jahmarah Hodge; sisters-in-law: Rose George, Mary Antoine, Ann Marshall, Hermina Toussaint, Noelis Darroux and Agnes Bolmin; brothers-in-law: Leon Eustache, Anthony George, St. Hillaire Antoine, Andre Bolmin, Churchhill Darroux and Ferdinand Toussaint; and adopted children: Kalima King, Taisha Dowe, Iyanta Ellington, Pearl Jn-Lewis, Joelien, Carla, Zetha Jeffers, Lily Pierre, Tarnya Washington, Tamara and Timoy Hodge, Chanise and Cherifah Hendrickson Violet Dawson, Ashby Tonge, Jose Felix, Jai Williams, Valerie Thompson, Nisa Holmes, Nisha England, Anna Stuart, Natisha, Raheem, Akeem Harris, Denarise Henry, Kimberlee Smith, Delanny Thomas, Dwayne Anthony and Tandra Rabsatt.
Other survivors include adopted grandchildren: K’Maijah Walker, K’Nyai King, Iquena, Trinity, Ashera and Jahki Smith, Hasani and Hasania James, Raheem Roberts, Joemoi Bryan, Joequan Jeffers, Jahmari Harrow, Jemori and Jemol Sweeney, Tae’van Alexander, Hosani Felix, Ali’yjah and Adi’yjah Hodge, C’Nijah Anthony, Rasheem and Jahseem Morton, Jhem Mari Meyers, Jaeon Shaddai Leon Bryan, Mekia George and Mikayla Smith; and other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
The first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. The second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Eastern Cemetery.
In celebration of her life, persons attending the service are asked to wear festive colors.
