Rotating Service Disruptions Continue

V.I. Water and Power Authority plant personnel are working on Unit No. 23 at the Randolph Harley Power Plant on St. Thomas, and WAPA has implemented a rotation schedule for service interruptions in some areas.

Times are approximate and each interruption is expected to last for two hours.

The following feeders will experience service interruptions from approximately noon to 2 p.m.:

– Feeder 7D, includes Emerald Hill, Frydendahl, Point Pleasant, Red Hook, Smith Bay and neighboring areas;
– Feeder 8A, includes Nisky Center, Garden Street, Savan, Hospital Ground and neighboring areas;
– Feeder 9E (St. John), includes Chocolate Hole, Centerline, Fish Bay, Pastory and neighboring areas
– Feeder 10B, includes Frenchman’s Bay, Bakkeroe, Bolongo and neighboring areas;
– Ridge Road Feeder, includes Secret Harbor, Nazareth, Cabrita Point, Ridge Road and neighboring areas.

The following feeders will experience service interruptions from approximately 2-4 p.m.:

– Feeder 6A, includes Bonne Esperance, Bordeaux, Bournefield, Fortuna, Hope, Scott Free, Pearl Estate and neighboring areas;
– Feeder 7B, includes First through 10th Streets, Lockhart Gardens, Pearson Gardens, Harris Court, Raphune Hill and neighboring areas;
– Feeder 9C, Brookman, Charlotte Amalie, Fort Mylner, Hoffman, Nadir, Mandahl, Donoe, Wintberg Peak and neighboring areas;
– Feeder 9D, includes Benner Hill, Bolongo Bay, Bovoni, Compass Point, Frydenhoj, Sawk Hill, Nadir, Thomasville and neighboring areas..

WAPA will post updates periodically on www.viwapa.vi; www.vialert.gov, and WAPA’s Facebook page. Updates are also available at 774-3552 by pressing 6 for a recorded message.
