Elsie Liburd of Castle Burke died on Thursday, Aug. 2, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 86 years old.
She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Henry; sons: James Lynch, Anthony Henry (Cooper); grandchildren: Arishaune, Javannah, Ashley, Cassandra, Patricia, Nigel, Okima, Tashema, Anthony Jr., Mervin, Victor, Ion, Trissy, Aswad, Melvin, Toni-Ann, Tisha and Tishawn; great-grandchildren: Ajarni, Jadaiya, Makayla, Malaki, Jahfari, Jahnisha, Jahmarley, Shannon, Rahshan, Rahsheil, Rahshiloh, Jahziah, Malik, Briana, Mckenzie, Wenicia, Lorenzo, Giovanni, Torell, Amayia and Mehki Monroe; daughter-in-law, Ingrid Phillip-Henry; sister, Celina (N.Y.); brother, Vernon (Antigua); special friend: caretaker Pamela Webbe; cousins and other relatives: Maria Phillip and family, Loretta Browne and family, Archibald family (St. Kitts), Henry family (St. Kitts), Samuel family (St. Kitts), Hendrickson family (St. Croix); as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Emmanuel Gospel Chapel, Eliza’s Retreat, Christiansted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
