Caribbean Genealogy Library Hosts Free Workshop

Caribbean Genealogy Library will host a free workshop entitled “Knocking Down Brick Walls – Intermediate Research” at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11. This is the second in a series of four workshops being held on successive Saturdays.
The workshop will be led by local genealogist Nadine Marchena Kean. Attendees will learn how to move beyond the basics of family research by making use of the many family and cultural resources available at CGL. Individual research problems and “brick wall” questions will be addressed.
Future workshop topics will be “1940 Virgin Islands Census” on Aug. 18 and “New Acquisitions at CGL” on Aug. 26.
For more information, call CGL at 714-2136. CGL is located next to Mango Tango Art Gallery at Al Cohen’s Mall on Raphune Hill.
