St. Croix Environmental Association Holds Field Day for Children and Youths

The St. Croix Environmental Association (SEA) will hold a field day from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Southgate Coastal Reserve. With the help of seven other agencies, the SEA has lined up great activities for 90summer campers, K-12th grade, from Caribbean Summer Youth Alive and Big Island Adventure Camp.
The purpose of the Field Days program is for students to interact with their environment. Students will be investigating, making observations, and asking questions about the beach and wetland habitats. If you arrive after 9 a.m. – please keep in mind that you may need to ‘look’ for groups as some of us will be in the wetland and some on the beach.
