Edward Williams, 40, was found unresponsive Wednesday in the driver’s seat of a vehicle on Hard Labor Road in Estate Grove Place, police said in a Wednesday press release. He was shot to death.
Police were dispatched to the scene just around 7 a.m. after a concerned citizen noticed the vehicle, a grey Ford Taurus, parked halfway off the road with an apparent injured person at the wheel.
Police said the victim was wearing a white T-shirt, khaki pants and white sneakers. Forensic technicians collected several spent shell casings from the immediate area.
