The USVI Talented Teen Committee will be hosting the 2012
USVI Talented Teen Competition for local teenage girls to be held in October. The winner will then represent the USVI in the 2012 Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant to be held on St. Kitts Nevis in December.
Applications are now available for talented teenage girls who are age 15-18 years, have a 70 grade point average or higher, are single and never been married, never had children and have official documents to be able to travel to St. Kitts, West Indies.
The local competition will feature segments: ambassadorial costume; talent, eveningwear; and impromptu questioning.
The winner of the local competition will represent the U.S. Virgin Islands among 12 other girls from neighboring Caribbean islands such as the British Virgin Islands, Jamaica, St. Martin, Trinidad & Tobago, Antigua, Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, and others.
