St. Croix Youth Missing from Custody

Juvenile Unit detectives are searching for 15-year-old Manuel Davis.Juvenile Unit detectives on St. Croix are searching for 15-year-old Manuel Davis, who escaped June 6 from the custody of the Youth Rehabilitation Center while attending a program in Estate Sion Farm.

According to a Police Department press release issued Monday, Davis escaped custody while attending The Strength Project treatment program at the Village Partners in Recovery.

He is Hispanic, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs 150 pounds, police said. He has a light complexion and close-cropped black hair.

Davis was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark blue jeans. Davis lives in Estate Tipperary, but frequents the Harborview area, police said.

Police remind anyone, including family members, who might assist this missing or runaway minor to evade police or stay away from rehab will be subject to criminal charges.

Anyone who knows his whereabouts or has seen him lately is asked to contact juvenile detectives at 712-6046, 911 or Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-8477.
