Norma A. Smith

Norma A. Smith of Lavallee died on June 9, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Medical Center. She was 65 years old.

She is survived by her mother, Araminta Francis; father, Norman Francis; sons: Russell Rodgers, Glennworth Francis, Reuben Smith and Morris Harrigan; grandchildren: Jasmine and Jordan Rodgers, Ayana, Malik and Jahniya Francis, Amalia and Ayselah Smith, Christian, Zakeem, Kinobi, Nehemiah, Jordan, Malachi, Trinity, Joel and Christopher Harrigan; daughters-in-law: Taseline Rodgers, Tasha Francis, Kia Smith and Crystal Harrigan; brothers: Larry A. Francis and Norman G. Francis; niece, Cyntoine C. Francis; nephew, Orsuré D. Francis; and great nieces: Asanté S. Phipps, Sinoia I. Phipps and Alana N. Francis.
She is also survived by her aunt, Ann Johannes; uncles: Milton Johannes and Ezekiel Johannes; best friend, Kathleen Christian; special friends: Joan Keenan, Verna and family, Gail Shultabrand and the Class of 1965 (first graduating class of St. Joseph High School); cousins and other relatives: Johannes family, the Francis family, the Byron family, the Williams family, the Hobson family, the Samuel family, the Richards family, the Simmonds family, the Iles family, the Acoy family, and Lilean Jacobs and family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at the Kingshill Cemetery.
