Island-wide Internet Expansion Boosts Accessibility and Connection Speeds

Choice Wireless has announced the completion of five new tower sites in the Virgin Islands. On St. Croix, the new tower sites are located at Mary’s Fancy, Grove Place and Hotel on the Cay servicing downtown Christiansted. On St. Thomas, several new network upgrades have been completed and a new tower has been added at Sugar Estate.
According to Tony Shepherd, CEO/general manager of Choice Wireless, "The expansion is an investment that assures greater access to the powerful 4G Network for more people and to provide faster speeds to current customers. We have had continual requests from households that want cell phone and Internet services and are working hard to deliver.”
Choice Wireless plans to install five more tower sites before the end of the year that will include Bugby Hole on St. Croix and four sites on St. Thomas: Stalley/Hillcrest, Frenchtown for the Western part of the island, Caret Bay and Mahogany Run.
