Couple Found Dead in Cassi Hill Identified

Police on Wednesday identified the couple found dead Monday in and near their home on Cassi Hill as George Erskine, 66, and Jadine Bachelor, 59, according to a Police Department press release.

According to the medical examiner’s report, Erskine died from multiple stab wounds. Bachelor’s cause of death won’t be known until a toxicology report is complete.

Police said Erskine was found motionless in a grassy area a little more than 1,000 feet from his home. Bachelor was found unresponsive in a bathroom inside the home.

Police said she appeared to be foaming at the mouth.

The victims were taken to the Roy L. Schneider Hospital morgue where an autopsy was performed Tuesday.

Detectives continue to investigate this case and urge anyone who knows anything about these deaths to call 642-8449, 911 or Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-8477.
