Robert Brooks Dies

Robert Brooks

Our dearly beloved Robert Daniel Brooks, who was born on the French Island of St. Martin, went to sleep on Dec. 18, at his residence in Anna’s Retreat. He died at the age of 79. He was a former employee at the V.I. Housing Authority in the 1970s and 1980s.
He was a stonemasonry/construction worker and built many stonewall structures on the Island of St. Thomas and in the state of Georgia. He enjoyed planting in his garden and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will dearly miss him.

The second viewing will be held on Monday, Jan. 9, at the Philadelphia SDA Church on Raphune Hill from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with services to follow at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
