Ivanna Eudora Student Arrested

Police officers on St. Thomas arrested an Ivanna Eudora Kean High School student Friday for allegedly stabbing a classmate during a fight at school.

St. John resident, 18-year-old Ronald Jackson, was arrested shortly after 5:30 p.m. and was charged with first-degree assault for allegedly stabbing another student during a fight.

Education Department spokeswoman Ananta Pancham said Monday that they are still trying to coordinate with the school principal to get additional information about the incident.

Jackson’s bail was set at $75,000 and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections.
