Rita P. Leerdam died on Nov. 25.
She is survived by her mother, Mildrend Edwards Sille; son, Bernard Jude Sr.; daughter, Bernadette Hughes; stepson, Jerry Jude; grandsons: Albert Huggins (adopted), Jeremy Lettsome (adopted), Bernard Jr. and Arile Jude, and Tysheen Lucas (adopted); granddaughters: Toamma Lucas (adopted) and Johnai Hughes; sisters:Verlyn and Louisa Leerdam; brother: George Leerdam; stepsister: Janet Myers (Ira Myers); step brothers: Winston and Louis Foy, Liston Hendricks, George Adams and Collins Wesselhoft and Prudence Wesselhoft; uncles: Pastor Alvin Leerdam, Roy “Dalton” Leerdam and Harold Edwards; aunts: Lucille Fredericks, Ferna Leerdam, Jean Niles, Easlyn Raun, Joan Mason and Joyce Salem; sister-in-law, Diana Leerdam; godfather, Iva Cline; special cousin, Leova Harris; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention

There will be a first viewing from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8 at Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at St. Andrew’s Church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
