Man Murdered at the Top of Bunker Hill

A man was gunned down in the street near the top of Bunker Hill around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Several residents of the area rushed outside after hearing at least ten loud gunshots in rapid succession. They found the victim lying lifeless in the street.

The V.I. Police Department responded quickly to the scene, setting up evidence markers around the body and containing a growing crowd of area residents.

“This is too close – this is just too close,” one woman said, weeping as she stuck her head out her front gate to look at the scene.

As of 7 p.m., officers were still on the scene collecting evidence and taking names and contact information from residents who may have seen or heard something that will prove pertinent to solving the case.

If you have any information about the murder, please call Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-8477.
