VING Conducts Retirement Ceremonies and Holds Holiday Meal

The Virgin Islands National Guard is scheduled to host a retirement ceremony during the weekend Inactive Duty Training period. At 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the St. Croix Educational Complex, five Guard members will be recognized for their service.
During the retirement ceremonies, the following Guard members will be honored
Lt. Col. Stanley S. Jones
Command Sgt. Maj. Eugenie J. Santos
Command Sgt. Maj. Hollis D. McIntosh
Master Sgt. Edgardo Sanes
Sgt. 1st Class Leonard R. Frett Sr.
On Sunday, Nov. 13, in the tradition of bringing the military family together; the VING will hold its annual holiday meal at the Central High School Gymnasium. The event, which is hosted by the 104th Troop Command, is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. The theme for this year’s event is “Cultivate and Harvest Military Family Relationships: Kids Serve Too.”
